Friends of Pondicherry National Wildlife Refuge
Hunting/Fishing
Hunting is permitted in most areas of the refuge but is not allowed around Cherry Pond, Little Cherry Pond, and the corridor of land between the two ponds. In accordance with federal and state regulations, moose, white-tailed deer, waterfowl, and small game may be hunted during the open seasons specified by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.

Likewise, fishing is permitted on any of the refuge’s ponds and streams, in accordance with state regulations. Although fishing opportunities are a bit limited at Pondicherry, chain pickerel and sunfish can be caught in the refuge’s water bodies.
